We are looking for a skilled and dynamic HR Assistant to join our Talent Management Unit, which encompasses HR responsibilities in the areas of recruitment, performance management, training and development. Under the general guidance of the Head of Talent Management Unit, the chosen candidate will primarily work with the Talent & Development Officer, but also with the Recruitment Officer, and in close collaboration with the other HR Assistant of the Unit, providing back-up as necessary.



  •  Participate in training and development needs analysis. Assist in defining areas of focus for developing training for managers and staff in relation to CEB’s current and future needs with the objective of developing skills and accompanying change.
  • Assist in call-for-tender and other selection processes for service providers for training purposes, including organising and participating in meetings with service providers, as well as drafting training purchasing memos.
  • Organise training sessions, including drafting invitations, monitoring registrations, validating requests, and ensuring logistical support.
  • Manage training, including billing processing.
  • Ensure complex talent data calculation and consolidation, information processing for reporting purposes as well as monitor budgets and procurement processes.
  • Draft presentations, speeches and intranet content in order to enhance HR communications.
  • Handle complex HR operational or technical information and provide technical advice.
  • Provide support in the organisation of recruitment processes, the CEB Mediator’s visits, missions for HR colleagues and serve as back-up for the other HR Assistant of the Unit.


Academic background:

  • Diploma of general secondary education or, preferably, a higher education qualification in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business administration or (administrative) law.

Professional skills:

  • At least two years’ experience in office management and administration, preferably in HR. Experience from another International Organisation, in particular an International Financial Institution, would be an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of, and experience in, the use of the standard range of software packages and platforms used in the Organisation (MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.).
  • Proven ability to learn and assimilate new tools, rules and procedures quickly.
  • Excellent planning, work organisation and multi-tasking skills to ensure effective and timely output in an autonomous way and with a focus on priorities.

Communication and language skills:

  • Perfect command of written and spoken English. Strong writing and presentation skills: can communicate, present and draft clearly and concisely. Knowledge of French, the Bank’s other official language, would be a definite advantage.

Employment Conditions

1) Contract: the CEB offers a 2-year appointment (including a one-year probationary period) with, under certain conditions, the possibility of renewal.

2) Grade and salary:
• B4/B5
• Depending on level of experience, monthly salary starting at EUR 4,179, plus allowances based on eligibility, exempt of French income tax.
